First off let me say I'm a gunsmith. What that means for the purpose of this review is that I have gotten to sight in hundreds of guns over the years equipped with the widest range of optics you can imagine. From the $3000.00 plus to the less than $50 dollar jobs. US Optics, NightForce, Schmidt Bender, Swarovski, Leupold, Burris, Zeiss, Simmons, you name it and I'll seen what they can do! I'm also very familiar with what they cost! I can say unequivocaly that you can pay 9 times as much for another scope and you will not even get twice the performance. This scope is equal to many of the very top brands out there and just barely behind the very top two or three at one tenth the price. If your deploying to the mountains of Afghanistan and planning on making a few shots at 1200 yards or more in the early morning or at dusk, and can afford it, go ahead and shell out the $3000. If not, this scope is all your ever need.
